This is quite significant...
its been so long since i last wrote on this page...and frankly, i actually did not write anything simply cuz, had no idea what to write about...
i guess, u would probably argue that after such a long time, there must be something to write about.. and yeah, i guess so, but i have no idea how to write it in words..i dun think i am good at this...but since its post spm, and wasting time, is pretty much in my everyday routine, i decided i will write something after all...
well its post spm...i was soo looking forward to this period of my life throughout out the year...I'm not gonna deny it...what i pictured before my spm, was that i would go crazy, go freaking insane, have crazy a lot of fun...and enjoy life!! during this period...and boy ohh boy, how wrong could i be?
i thought i will learn how to drive, go out with friends everyday, go futsal, have fun, go absolutely mental..this was what i thought i was gonna do...well, what I'm doing is go to bed at what 3-4 am, wake up at freaking 1 or 2 pm...then 'lunch at what? 4, 5 pm...then dinner at 10-11 pm...and in between i will either watch TV, or play my computer...
u will probably say well thats nice life..yes it is...but this is not what i want..i wanted to go crazy and all...but i got this..and what also i am becoming is a total lazy ass...heck, i was so looking forward to drive early this year...now, too lazy to even enroll myself into driving school...how screwed up is that?
there is a plus point tho, in this period...i have managed to catch up with movies which i have missed, especially those hindi movies...i use to watch hindi movies when i was in form 1 and 2, then i went on hiatus...until last 2 weeks, I've been catching up what i missed...i dun usually miss hollywood movies so, i am pretty upto date with english movies...
but i must say, the hindi movies these days are no longer like those old movies, they are like modern and not unrealistic...its really cool...and i enjoyed it...and the actresses, well some really amazed me..by their looks, of cuz..:P
also im playing some old school games, doom, wolfenstein, age of empires..just wanted to relive my younger computer days...and boy, the old school games were really revolutionary...doom, wolfenstein, these games brought the likes of CS and COD into the world, age of empires, brought the likes of RA3 and StarWars like genres into the picture...so i thought, wth, just play the games which brought all this games today...and i tell u, playing these games is absolutely brilliant...
well, i think I've typed enough for one day...and whether i will write again anytime soon, im sorry i cannot answer that question...so yea, until later, ciou~

just my luck...
Look, i wrote an article on euro 08 for an english newsletter for my school. Well I made predictions. I got it almost 90% right.I did this by the way 3 days before Euro started. I am completely overjoyed with my predictions. However, this is the screwed up part.
Thanks to some of the societies' members who did not submit their articles, the article could not be posted. So thanks to them ,the school could not see the sheer brilliant predictions that i produced =P.
So since the article would not be published, and thanks to an idea from my classmate, syahaz, i am posting this on my blog. Its up to you to believe me or not that i wrote this before euro. =P
EURO 08 – LETS GET THE PARTY STARTED!
Its football fever once again! It’s a major international football competition. I have always been fascinated by international football competitions, even more then club football competitions.
I mean international football is the only chance where we can get to see an Iran versus United States and actually see Iran merging victorious, for instance. This actually happened by the way in the 1998 world cup. At this time, there were politically intense between these two countries. To add fuel to fire, during the world cup, these two teams played each other.
Anyway, I’m not here to give a history lesson on two countries, neither about the world cup, but instead I’m giving my predictions on what is going to happen during the Euro 08 competition. The bookies hot favourites are Germany and Spain. For my money I would root Spain to win this competition.
Well, I believe Spain has probably got the most talented squad, and definitely the most dangerous strike partnership in Fernando Torres and David Villa. These two would be key for Spain if Spain are to win this competition. With the maturing Cesc Fabregas and Barcelona’s Xavi providing ammunition, there are bound to be goals for Spain. Their back look solid too, with Sergio Ramos leading them and the ever consistent Iker Casillas as their goalkeeper. The only danger for Spain is that their players get over confident and play for themselves and not the team.
If not Spain, next I would go for Germany. The German has got a thing for big competitions. They would struggle through qualification and suddenly would shine big time under the lime light. A squad full of flair, passion, and energy. With young talent in inspirational captain Micheal Ballack leading them, I for one would not be surprised if they emerge as champions of Europe one more time. The only downside for Germany would probably they do not have a strong defence and with no Oliver Kahn, it would be interesting to see how the Germans coop in defence.
The next few contenders I could see are France, Netherlands, Italy and Portugal. France probably has got the perfect mixture of experience and raw talent, however I think the French players would be jaded. If they were to make an impact, Franck Ribery and Samir Nasri will have to shine. Netherlands on the other hand, I just don’t think Marco Van Basten is the right man for the job. I just think that he is just not as good as he thinks he is. Anyway, the Dutch would need Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder to play amazingly well if they are going to progress to be champions. Italy was one of the favourites early on in my book, but after the unfortunate injury of their skipper, Fabio Cannavarro, I doubt they can do well in this tournament, simply because they have no proper leader in there. However, they have arguably the best goalie in the world in the world in Gianluigi Buffon and a solid midfield. Portugal I doubt their credentials, simply because I believe that they are simply not good enough. Nonetheless, they have got Cristiano Ronaldo who scored an amazing 40 goals this season. I think that Ronaldo would be too exhausted and will not be on top of his game for Portugal. However, if they do well, I think it would be because of Deco and Ricardo Quaresma.
Other long shot contenders would be Greece, Croatia and the Czechs. Greece does not have good quality players. However, they have got something most big teams don’t and that is spirit. They maybe not good individuals, but as a team they are strong. I really hope they do well to prove that their last Euro win was not a fluke, but I seriously cannot see it happening. The Croats has done very well indeed. With knocking out England out of qualifications, their confidence would be sky high. I just think their squad will miss Eduardo too much. Last but not least, the Czechs. They have got a decent squad, but in book they are just not good enough. They will miss Tomasz Rosicky too much, and he is pretty much the heart of this team. The only plus point would be that the Czechs has got a very very good goalkeeper in Petr Cech.
Well, there you have it. These are my predictions for Euro 08.
- By another pundit wannabe, Hadi.
There you have it. all i can do is curse my luck. This would have been a big break =P.

Drama 08
'And the runner up is'....When the emcee said this, time stopped. Everything when through my head. All the wonderful memories with the drama team, all the sad moment, all the pissing off moments..All when through my head. And then time played again. This time the emcee continued and said 'school no.7, smk st. john'. It was the suckiest feeling EVER. Especially with bulls at the back making hella alot of noise. What makes it even more sucky is that our team did not see their play. Imagine losing to someone without knowing what they were like.
When the first time i joined drama, people said that u will learn bout the spirit of st. johns and the drama team will be like a brotherhood. i honestly thought at the beginning that was bullshit. But yesterday( 17.5.08), evrything changed. I felt the spirit, the johannian spirit, i felt the brotherhood of the drama team. I've always been asking myself why did ravin, izzat and other old drama members came back to help us. And now i know. Its all about the feeling. A feeling like being part of something.
To arvind, andy, afendi, soh wai keat, chan wai keat, chan kai sze, joe, ritesh, firdaus, nasril, edward, kok huah, sarveen, and yap, u guys were awesome. so were ravin, izzat, and other drama members.Seriously. we were brilliant. Nothing would ever change that fact. Maybe people wont remember runner ups. So what? We will remember each other. What we did yesterday, when we did the drama, we gave a perfomance the audience will not forget. I know we achieved that.
I honestly never thought the drama team would be this close, but we did. I am damn proud we did become a unit. I am god Damn proud. We were all one yesterday. Especially after the results were announced. The way we screamed ST.JOHNS! the way we sang onward st.johns!. Literally screaming our lungs out. Every one of us, screaming our lungs out. All 20 of us, including the old boys hu were there to support us, and teachers out singing the 30-40 bulls. outnumbered yet beating them. Beat that bulls!
I had never seen kok huah, edward, nasril, firdaus, ritesh, sarveen and yap so fired up like yesterday. So determined to kick ass next year. i honestly thought some of you guys were not interested in drama initally. but u guys proved me wrong. The way u guys were focused, the way u guys reacted, it made me proud. I hope u guys instill this determination, this fire u guys found to the new drama members. If you instill this spirit in them, i am absolutely 110% sure u guys will suceed in what ever u want to achieve. My have absolutely no regrets at all bout joining drama. All the tution skipping, the flunkking of exams, all are small sacrifices. The bigger picture is the drama team. And i learned that.
The only sad thing is that i cant be part of this team next year. But i will help out, if u guys need me. If u guys need my help, call me. All i hope from u guys is that u guys make the form fives of this year drama team this year proud.
All that is left to say is that, i wanna thank ravin and izzat, you have done so much for this years drama team, and thought us a lot bout drama. Showed us what drama is all about. To drama teachers, thanks in million fot support and encouragement, and to all drama members, i dont know how to describe u guys, but i love each and everyone of you. we truly are a brotherhood, for life.

Hmmm...What an ordinary day. Wait, is there such a thing? OK lets see, how often does this happen, a meeting is arranged and canceled in about 3 minutes, teacher have to do revision because cannot use the electricity. This all combine, i've got another day to settle long overdue account i am supposed to hand in.
Lets see, how did the day begin, perhimpunan, physics relief, blablabla during BM, agama, oh yea, that was a subject, lupa. Then came add math, she ask to do latihan on the board. Then gave homework...after that ENGLISH. Oh My God, suddenly i am in my class debate team, what the hell??? I suck at debating and now the preliminaries is on thursday... DIE. Whatever la, then came sejarah, she had to do revision on intervensi, ok ok the class, EST was next, was soo sleepy so was like yayayaya in class.
Then the moment all waits, the end of school. WOOHOOO relief, but got to do drama, but what the hell, i love drama, so did the script for kl comp, quite a 'productive session' (drama people, you know what i am saying) and then lunch after that GO HOME. yee haa! got back early today, damn proud! and now i am writing this post, cuz i am soo bored.. CHIOUZ... =D

Makes me SAD
Today, i mean just now, someone told me about this child prodigy, Sofiah something about how smart she is and that now she is a hooker in London. She has got some Malaysian blood. Yeah. That much is true. BTW, she is a British citizen. That is a fact that could not be hidden.
My physics tuition teacher was talking about being smart and don't jual diri. He thinks that i read the papers. Well i do. But nowadays, i read it for my beloved Liverpool, see some awesome 50 bucks photographs, showbiz page and then read what is happening around the world. I dun bother whats on the front page. Freaking propaganda. You know where i am going. So this is why i missed this prodigy kid who was a prodigy who turned to this prostitute.
Well what gets my goat is that this girl had so much expectations on her tiny winy shoulders. She was what 13 when she went to the UK in Oxford to study Maths?. THAT is amazing. Yeah of cuz it is. You know anyone who has done that...Wait, going to Oxford for MATHS at 13 is that really good? Is it?
I don't think so. See 13 years old studying maths. Her brains maybe can coop, but can her heart coop? I mean her social desires. At 13 studying Math of the highest level, she does not have the time to experience what it is like to have a boyfriend, a crush, hangout with friends, play a prank. She did not have the chance. And remember, she is only 13 the rest of her university mates are way elder, 23+, how do you think she will be treated? duhhh, IGNORED. she is too young. So she found herself in hooking, that is the way she wants to live her life, let her be la, what the big deal? It is sad, i understand, but its the family who made her like that, so freaking hard with her, and now blame everything except themselves.
What makes me more sad about this whole saga is how the society portrays itself, apparently this girl is undergoing some 'black magic' spell. YA YA. She is hooker so she is under black magic. Just because she is prodigy in maths don't say this. what about the other hookers around the world, why are they not under black magic, oh yea, i forgot they don't have math. Go to hell, if want to correct the morals of a successful prostitute with math knowledge, do not discriminate those who are poor, and had hard childhood and had no choice but to sell themselves, these are the one we all should help first.
